Docbook to DITA conversion
David Hollis
Hi,
Does anyone have a Docbook to DITA conversion script that creates DITA topics for each Docbook section, and creates a map too? If it’s possible to flag each Docbook section as C/T/R, then that would be fantastic! Many thanks, David |

Hi David,
If you have access to Oxygen, you could give the Batch Documents Converter add-on a try: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/25.0/ug-editor/topics/batch-converter-addon.html We've used it for converting a bunch of Word application notes to DITA and it did a surprisingly good job, given our source material. - Chris |

As you are using Oxygen from what I remember maybe you can try to install and use our Batch Documents Converter add-on: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-editor/topics/batch-converter-addon.html It can generate as you want a DITA map with topics from a DocBook XML document.
